Crafted by Seghesio Family Vineyards, Rockpile Zinfandel is grown in Sonoma County where they believe world class Zinfandel is grown. Established in 2002, the Rockpile Appellation has since been noted for its rugged terrain and high elevation above the Dry Creek Valley. There, among the shallow, rocky top soil and steep well-drained hillsides you'll find the vines for this Zinfandel stressed by the rocky hillside conditions. This results in a small grape yield with intense flavors and wonderful balance.
