Grand Mayan's handcrafted Reposado Tequila is produced with the purest Blue Agave from the central-highlands in Mexico. Grand Mayan Ultra Aged Tequila falls into the relatively new tequila category of XA's or Extra Anejos.
In order to be considered an XA, the tequila must be aged for a minimum of three years. Grand Mayan Ultra Aged Tequila has been aged for five years and the taste reflects it.
Ultra rich, but not overpowering this Tequila is certainly a sipping tequila that is a showstopper both on the palate and visually as each decanter is hand crafted, individually numbered and hand painted by local Mexican artists in Mexico City. So when the bottle runs dry, be sure to hold on to the decanter for splash of decor.
