The accidental sensation, Casamigos Tequilas were never intended to become the tequila brand it is today, Casamigos was the consequence of many a night of tequila drinking. However at its heart is a firm friendship between actor George Clooney, Mike Meldman who was his co-star in the movie Oceans 13, and business man and former model Rande Gerber. Created with a desire to create a supremely smooth tequila that required no salt or lime Casamigos was originally destined to be ‘just a house-made tequila’ to be enjoyed only by those who had created it.
Served exclusively in their own homes where friends, family and tequila connoisseurs alike soon fell in love and pressed the three to go public.
Differing from its counterparts, Casamigos Mezcal Tequila is smoky without the burn; derived from joven (meaning it’s young), Casamigo Mezcal is uncannily smooth for an unaged spirit but fragrant with herbs and fruits
