Unlike other Raki's, Tekirdag Raki is an aged Raki. Made from carefully selected fresh grapes that are distilled to produce 'suma', which is mixed with high-quality aniseed and distilled a second time in special copper stills before aging. Tekirdag Gold Raki is aged for 3 months in oak barrels to give it a smooth taste and golden color. The difference is immediately tasted as this raki has a smoother palate that is viscous and slides over the palate nicely.
