Poggio Antico is one of Montalcino's most elevated estates, with vineyards averaging 1476 feet above sea level, southwest of the famed medieval citadel. Founded in 1976 and consist of 50 clayey, calcareous acres of Brunello di Montalcino.
Made with 100% Sangiovese according to the traditional method, our Brunello embodies all the characteristics of the variety. Long aging in the barrel and in the bottle endow this wine with structure and complexity: a great classic.
