Cantina di Montalcino was founded in 1970 and it is the only cooperative winery in the Brunello area. Today it counts 94 members, small farms that own about 385 acres of vineyards, on average less than 5 acres each, located between 350 and 2000 feet above sea level.
The small growers produce high quality grapes through their care and dedication to their craft.
Produced in the traditional style, Brunello di Montalcino Cantina di Montalcino is made from Sangiovese grapes and is aged in oak casks for at least two years.
