Bumbu's historic Barbadian distillery was founded in 1893 and continuously operated for more than 120 years. Distilled using two continuous stills, Bumbu rum uses its own proprietary yeast during fermentation that dates back as far as 1840.
Today the brand has spent the last few centuries perfecting the art of distilling and blending their fine spirits. At the top of the list for us is Bumbu X.O.; a thing of beauty, this rum is handcrafted with an exceptionally smooth, rich and complex palate.
Aged up to 18 years in bourbon barrels and selectively finished in Spanish white oak sherry casks to achieve a beautifully balanced and endlessly enjoyable rum. Although this rum can be mixed, in our opinion, the rum is better on its own or with a single ice cube.
