Started by Joaquim Santos Lima,Casa Santos Lima was created to ensure the continuous development of Santos Lima’s wine producing activity. Unfortunately the house did not survive, but in 1990 Maria João Santos Lima and José Luís Santos Lima Oliveira da Silva, granddaughter and great grandson of the founder, relaunched Casa Santos Lima.
By replanting most of the vines, improving agricultural techniques and modernizing all its productive structure the brand has been successfully growing the business year over year. However, it wasn't until 1996 that Casa Santos Lima, started bottling its own brands, which immediately achieved great success both in national and international markets.
Among those brands is Lab Vinho Verde Rose, a soft and subtle rose that has great acidity
and minerality. This wine can be paired with wine meats or served as an aperitivo, so pick up a bottle and explore the wines that Portugal has to offer.
