This year’s expression marks the 15th release of the Master’s Collection, which was created to honor the many discoveries and innovations that occurred at the 1812 distillery site where Woodford Reserve is now located.
While Woodford Reserve will always honor the past, this Master’s Collection is about the journey of the present and future. Master Distiller, Chris Morris comprised a blend of multiple ages, with an unknown number of barrels being 17 years old.
Although not much else is known about the contents and how it's made, we can say that this is a superb bourbon that is a balance between robust older bourbons and younger ones to round out the flavors.
Notes: Ultra-smooth, full-bodied. Aromas and flavors of caramel, vanilla, oak and honey.
