Inspired by the regions untapped potential they embarked on a journey to produce wines with exceptional nuance and character, that are worthy of attention on the world stage.
One of our favorites in the collection is the Hahn Pinot Noir, which uses grapes that were harvested from the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, which sits right beneath the Santa Lucia mountain range.
Cool winds from Monterey Bay ensure gradual ripening and development of flavors. The rocky soils allow for excellent drainage, enhancing the intensity and balance between ripeness and acidity. This Pinot Noir is berry forward and has a hint of spice on the finish which is imparted by the 10 months it aged in 35% new French oak barrels.
Notes: Dry, medium-bodied. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, spice and rhubarb .
