Barkan Winery is vastly known as one of the top Israeli wine producers as it is the second largest winery in the entire nation. Among their superb collection is Barkan Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. This exceptional red wine has been created to achieve the perfect balance of fruit aromas and barrel aging. The grapes are hand selected from vineyards located in the Northern Galilee and harvested at exactly the right moment to create a big and firm wine that maintains its fruit character without being overly alcoholic. After distillation the wine is then barrel aged for at least 20 months, in mostlyFrench oak, to establish its balanced character. The result is an elegant rich and dark wine that will continue to improve in the bottle for several years.
