Comprised of 80% Marzemina, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, Maculan Madoro is a lush dessert wine produced in the heart of Veneto, Italy.
The grapes are hand harvest and left to dry for about 45 days before they are fermented in steel vats. After which the wine is aged for 6 months in second passage barriques and for another 6 months in the bottle, before being bottled.
Maculan Madoro has an intense red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with evident hints of red fruits and berries. On the palate it is sweet and full, well structured but balanced, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Notes: Sweet, medium-bodied. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, and blueberry.
