Twenty years after the first release of Riserva Ducale in 1927, Ruffino produced its first Riserva Ducale Oro to commemorate an exceptional vintage year. That tradition lives on today with Ruffino Oro Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico Gran Seleczione. Produced with 85% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 5% Colorino grapes that were meticulously selected, this wine goes through an intense aging process. The first 12 months are spent in concrete vats, followed by an additional 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and finally the last 12 months in barriques. The result is an elegant Italian wine that showcases the very best the region has to offer.
