Wolf Blass arrived in Australia's Barossa Valley at the age of 27, and has since developed one of Australia's premier wineries for over 30 years. Receiving over 3,000 awards at international wine shows since 1966, his name has certainly paved the way for Australian winemakers.
Wolf Blass Black Label Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Barossa Valley, and balanced being Langhorne Creek Shiraz and McLaren Vale Merlot.
Fermented in new French and American oak prior to maturation and aged for 20 months in the same barrels, this wine has a beautiful deep purple color with a bright crimson hue.
Notes: Dry, full-bodied. Aromas and flavors of peppermint, chocolate, plum and licorice.
