It was in 1998, when Armen Khaltayan founded Old Bridge Winery, which is located on the bank of the Arpa River in the village of Arpi, Armenia.

Khaltayan saw the potential of making modern table wines from native Armenian grapes using traditional Armenian and modern winemaking methods. Thereby bridging the gap, not only between old and new, but with Armenia and the rest of the wine drinking world.  Crafted from only the best quality of 100% Areni grapes,

Old Bridge 2014 Areni Noir Estate Reserve is double fermented and aged in Caucausian oak barrels for two years. This vintage is a bit more acidic than the 2013 vintage but shares the same well-rounded and balanced flavors its predecessor.
